Sponsorship and/or
Charitable Donation Requests

Please read these guidelines before submitting your on-line request.
Key Requirements for consideration:

• TIMING: Please submit requests at least 30 days prior to your event. Our resources are limited. Equipment and personnel support are provided based on size and impact of event or sponsorship. Great Bay will do it’s best to accommodate reasonable requests.
• LOCATION: Is your event in our sales territory? Our sponsorships and donations are limited to events held in our sales territory of Pinellas, west Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties.
• BRANDING: Great Bay will determine if the event fits with the branding image of the products we carry and image our products personify.
• PARTICIPATION: We expect marketing on the promoter’s behalf beyond what we provide. Please ensure you have adequate support to help promote the event in addition to Great Bay’s participation.
• CHARITY STATUS: Great Bay Distributors offers product and monetary donations for specific events and non-profit fundraisers. Although we wish we could support all events and charitable programs, we must sometimes decline events at the discretion of our Donations Committee. Your organization must be a registered 501c3 Charitable Organization. Its status must be current and filed with State of Florida. Please provide proof of your incorporation or charitable license.
• PERMIT: If it is opened to the public, we need a copy of the special event permit. If you will be utilizing a charity (501c3 Charitable License) to secure your permit, you must include all the 501c3’s information.

We do not fund:

Due to the overwhelming number of requests we get, it is not feasible for us to give support to all requests. Below are examples of things we just can’t sponsor.

• Sports or Racing Teams
• Individual Athletes
• Bands

Things to remember:

• Events less than one month out will most likely be declined.
• All requests must be submitted online.
• The donation committee meets approximately every month.

Once we have received your request, we will review it and should we choose to sponsor your event, someone will contact you within 2 – 3 weeks of your request.
