The HR assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department on all HR related matters. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting employees with HR requests and questions, assisting with new hire benefit enrollment, filing, applicant tracking, background checks, scheduling interviews, drug screens, physicals, DOT recertifications, reporting worker’s comp claims to insurance carrier, conducting new hire orientation, I-9 verification and data entry. $18 per hour. EOE and Drugfree Workplace.
This position requires:
- Strong oral and written communications skills, relationship skills, attention to detail, good listening and the utmost discretion.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Degrees and certifications are an advantage but not required.
